Heetal Dattani
Founder & CCO
Heetal Dattani is an artist, creative leader and entrepreneur whose work spans advertising, design, art and children’s literature. With over two decades of experience across India, the Middle East and Singapore, she has built a career at the intersection of culture, creativity and brand storytelling.
Having worked with leading agencies including Lowe, Publicis, Bates Enterprise, The Classic Partnership and Sideways Design Consultancy, Heetal has led multidisciplinary teams and shaped communication for some of India’s leading brands, including Lakmé, AXE, Marico, Vicks, Benadryl, Nerolac, Hamleys and Kamasutra, as well as retail giants - Future Group and Landmark Group.
Her creative philosophy is rooted in the belief that brands can be culturally relevant without relying on stereotypes. She is particularly passionate about redefining the representation of women through more nuanced, contemporary and authentic storytelling- recognising women as discerning, influential consumers rather than audiences defined by convention. This belief runs through the work she creates at Nine Yards across advertising, design and art.
An advocate for diversity, cultural nuance and creative thinking, Heetal brings an expansive perspective to leadership, refusing to be defined by a single discipline and continually exploring new intersections between art, design, culture and communication.
